The reliability of a simulation result begins with the person who sets up the model. This page introduces the CFDWAYS team through its peer-reviewed publication list, the journals that published it, and the people who will actually work on your project.
The models CFDWAYS uses in industrial projects have been published by the team in international journals and peer-reviewed by researchers in the same field.
Every internationally peer-reviewed paper has had its method and results examined by independent researchers in the same field before publication. Over 15 years, the models CFDWAYS brings into the plant have passed this review dozens of times.
In practice, when a multiphase or reaction model produces an abnormal result, an engineer who has published on that class of model can distinguish a model limitation from a setup error. That is the difference between running the software and understanding the result.
The citation count shows that other research groups have built on this work; it measures the usefulness of the results.

A real problem rarely sits inside one foundation: a combustion chamber involves reacting flow, radiative heat transfer and emissions at the same time. The results are meaningful only when these phenomena are solved together in one model, which is why one team covers all five foundations below.
CFDWAYS works in small teams: the engineer who discusses the technical scope with you at the first meeting remains your point of contact through to delivery.
Owns the problem from the first conversation and is responsible for scope, schedule and the engineering quality of the deliverables.
Builds the geometry, meshes it, sets up the physics and runs the scenarios. Every model is validated against design data or operating measurements before any conclusions are drawn from it.
Involved in framing the problem and interpreting the results, the two stages where industry knowledge is needed to distinguish an abnormal value from a normal operating characteristic.
Part of the team teaches and does joint research with technical universities. This keeps methods current, since a new model must be validated before it is used in client projects, and provides a recruitment pipeline for CFDWAYS engineers.
The most recent ongoing program is the NH₃ co-firing R&D for thermal power plants, with Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.
The first conversation is a technical one with the engineer in charge. Describe the problem in ten lines and CFDWAYS replies within 24 working hours.
